The recent Lamma Ferry Tragedy has shocked us all and our hearts go out to those who were directly involved. When a sudden disaster happens so close to home, it often triggers feelings of anxiety over our own mortality. Parents can empathise all too easily with the absolute horror that must have faced those parents with children on the sinking ferry. People who are weak swimmers may suddenly become anxious about traveling on ferries, and children can become extremely nervous, suffering from sleeplessness as they cannot make sense of the stories they hear.
