Do you ever wonder what happens to goods that are confiscated by the authorities or remain unclaimed? (ie luxury cars, jewelry, and anything of value)
The Hong Kong government organizes regular auctions of these goods

However I'm told by a good source that the auctions seem to be manipulated by certain groups that attend.. But it could be fun to check out if you have some time to kill.
